B&P Sept. 2020 Tour of The Insurrection-Resurrection Service Circus

The Insurrection Resurrection Services Circus is going on tour September 11-21, 2020!

The Insurrection-Resurrection Service Circus is a service for citizens, aliens & immigrants alike to demonstrate the ills that inspire uprising against incompetent government & the tragedies that result from that incompetence & call for resurrection. The frequently changing acts of the circus are performed in a former gravel pit turned amphitheater with ample space for audiences to respect distancing. Bread & aioli will also be served in compliance with distancing rules.” — Peter Schumann

Bread and Puppet has been performing all summer on our farm in Glover, VT, for socially distanced, outdoor audiences, and has collaborated with health professionals in our community to develop the systems and practices necessary to offer our current shows as safely as possible.

On this short regional September tour, B&P is teaming up with venues on the upper eastern seaboard who have the interest and ability to implement and adapt the safety practices that we developed this summer in Vermont in order to bring our new work to audiences outside of Vermont.

Mask-wearing required and social distancing will be facilitated by ushers at each show. Audience sizes will be strictly limited with advanced ticketing required at all but the Washington, DC shows. Exact safety protocols vary by venue.
