Music, the ceremonial opening of the Museum door, and small shows start at 2pm. At 4pm, the resident puppeteers together with theater students from Montreal’s Concordia University will present a new show in the Dirt-Floor Theater behind the Museum. Following the performance, there will be an information meeting, open to all, about Bread & Puppet Theater’s Summer Programs.

This unique museum, holding one of the largest collections of some of the biggest puppets in the world, first opened its doors to the public in 1975. Since then it has expanded to two floors with ever more puppets and artwork, which draw more visitors every year.

The Bread & Puppet Museum is open daily June 1 to November 1, 10am to 6pm and after performances. It is located on Rte. 122 (Heights Road), just off Rte. 16 and near Interstate 91, exits 24/25 in Glover, Vermont. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
